I still can't figure out what the gameplay will be like from the trailer. The fast navigation seems like something from an open world game instead of a more structured action game, otherwise how do you stop the player from avoiding all the enemies? It also shows the world being populated by humans going about their day instead of monsters. Which makes me think there might be a whole separate non-combat aspect of the game that we haven't been shown yet.

I think that the game would have two gameplay modes:

1) When we are walking around the town, the game will probably play like an openworld detective game. We will have to find a Yakushi among NPCs in the town, and then defeat it.

2) And when we are inside buildings, the game will play like an action-slasher.

And the structure of the game would probably be similar to SH1: town -> building -> town -> building.
