Recently, Sony released a collection of official T-shirts to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Forbidden Siren.
Here you can find photos of all these T-shirts. And I'll also explain the meaning of each design.
Dr. Shiro
T-shirt with the image of doctor Shiro Miyata. He is holding a hammer in his hands because this weapon was very popular among Japanese fans of "Siren", and it became kind of a meme.
Despair
T-shirt in dark colors with "DESPAIR" written on it. Why was such a word printed on a T-shirt? Because one of the key themes of Forbidden Siren was despair and hopelessness.
Mana Religion
This T-shirt depicts the priest Kei Makino from the local religious organization "Church of Mana".
Shibito
T-shirt with strange red hieroglyphs. These characters are called "Shibito language" - this is a special type of alphabet used by the monsters in the game. And here the word "Shibito" is encrypted through this language.
Tsuchinoko
On this T-shirt, we can see an archive file 064 from the game - a poster promising 100 million yen for the capture of a rare snake called Tsuchinoko. However, this is a fictional creature, and no one has ever been able to catch it in reality.
Zetsubou
In Japan, the main slogan of Siren was "Dou Agaitemo Zetsubou" - "No matter what you do, despair awaits you". This slogan was even used in the video trailers that were shown on Japanese television in 2003. And this gloomy phrase is written on this T-shirt.
Shibitoro
A cute cat named Toro was the mascot of the PlayStation 2 in Japan - but on this T-shirt, he appears in the creepy form of the Shibito monster. By the way, a few years ago Sony also released a Shibitoro figurine.
Hanyuda
Here is a picture of the village from the game and the inscription "I was in Hanuda!"
Siren 20th Anniversary
The hieroglyphs on the T-shirt mean "Entering the Other World”. This is the name of a special holiday celebrated by Japanese fans of Siren every year in early August.

And this T-shirt could only be purchased at the Namja Town amusement park, where the special Forbidden Siren events were held in 2023.
On the back of the shirt, it says "Siren in Namja Town Utage" in Shibito language.
Dr. Shiro Hoodie
In addition to the T-shirts, Sony also released a hoodie featuring Dr. Shiro Miyata.
Sight-Jack Sleep Mask
And these sleep masks also appeared on sale. The mask says, "I'm currently in the process of Sight-Jack".
