In 2016, Forbidden Siren was re-released for PS4.
This version also works on PlayStation 5.
In the U.S. PlayStation Store, the game costs $9.99. In the European Store - 9.99 euros.
For those who haven't played "Siren" yet, this is a good opportunity to get acquainted with the classic Japanese horror game. However, if you have already completed the game on PS2 and are expecting some new features from the re-release, then you will have to be a little disappointed: the only differences in this version are a higher resolution and an achievements system ("trophies"). Otherwise, the game is identical to the original.
In this article, you can find out what trophies have been added to the game - and how to get them.

They are divided into three categories - bronze, silver and gold.
Here is a complete list of all achievements in the PS4 version:
1. Jump Start
(bronze trophy)
This trophy is given for completing the first episode of the game, where you must defeat the Shibito Policeman.
2. Savior
(bronze trophy)
Award for solving a puzzle in the episode about Reiko Takato (Day 1 - 23:00), where you must light the candles on stone lamps in a correct order.
3. Endless Challenge
(bronze trophy)
To get this achievement, you need to beat the game and unlock the bonus "Time Attack Mode".
4. Fun for the Family
(bronze trophy)
This trophy is given for unlocking a secret mini-game called "Brain Cell Revival". To do this, you will first have to find archive file No.87 - it is hidden in the Kyoya Suda's episode on the third day of the game (Day 3 - 03:00 - Shibito Nest). After finding this archive, a new "Puzzle Game" option with a mini-game will appear on the title screen. When you go to this option and play the secret game, you will receive the trophy.
5. Shortcut
(bronze trophy)
To get this achievement, you need to very quickly finish the Kei Makino's episode on the first day (Day 1 - 12:00 - Reach road to Hirasakai). The time limit here is only 55 seconds.
6. Avid Collector
(bronze trophy)
Collect 50 archive items to get this achievement.
7. Hard Day's Work
(bronze trophy)
Award for completing all episodes on the first day of the game (including Mission 1 and Mission 2).
8. Fork in the Road
(silver trophy)
A very easy achievement. It is automatically given when you complete the first few missions of the game (and the "Link Navigator" menu becomes accessible). You can't miss it.
9. Sibling Rivalry
(silver trophy)
You will receive this trophy if you can defeat a very powerful Shibito Nurse in the Risa Onda's episode inside the hospital (Day 1 - 22:00). But this is not so easy to do, because only a flimsy umbrella will be available to you as a weapon. And if you try to engage the Shibito Nurse in a straight battle, you will be killed instantly. Therefore, you will first need to lure the Nurse into a trap and stun her by spraying her with a stream from a fire extinguisher. And then it will be possible to sneak up behind the Nurse's back and whack her with the umbrella.
10. Working Overtime
(silver trophy)
Reward for completing all episodes on the second day of the game (including Mission 1 and Mission 2).
11. Siren Maniac
(silver trophy)
The most difficult achievement in the game. To get it, you need to collect all 100 archive items! But for some reason, for such a hellish challenge the game will only give you a silver trophy - not gold.
12. Divine Retribution
(gold trophy)
You will receive this trophy if you defeat the final boss using the sacred sword "Homuranagi".
